Comments Thread For: Humberto Soto Will Go For The KO With Monterrosa

Humberto Soto is already in Tepic for his ten round rematch with Colombian Fidel Monterrosa, which takes place this Saturday at the Palenque de Gallos in the city Nayarit. Soto can not afford to lose, because he's set to defend the lightweight crown of the World Boxing Council against Antillón Urban, who was granted a rematch on May 7 in Las Vegas.

Yea, end it real early, don't want to see it jeopardize the antillion rematch with a worthless headbutt that will cause a deep bad cut and cancel the Fight.

I agree, I hope he ends it without getting hurt or cut as well. The Antillion vs. Soto II fight is an attractive bout for the Pac vs. Mosley PPV and I would hate to lose it because of this fight. Let's hope Humberto comes out unscathed so he can fight Antillion and the winner of that can go for Rios after Rios fights Barrera (who seems to be the frontrunner for Rios)...

This joker really knows how to milk a title reign, doesn't he? .

I don't care if he is active, the guy doesn't have the balls to fight any of the top lightweights. The guy didn't even have the sack to fight Anthony Peterson, for f^ck sake. There is absolutely no chance that he will ever fight someone like Rios.

Shows the standard that he's set for himself when he needs a tune-up for someone as average and limited as Antillon - which is a pointless rematch as it is.
