Carlos Ivan Velasquez a threat to Juanma Lopez and Gamboa?

I think he can beat both these chumps up, Juanma has been getting his head kicked in by lesser oppisition and Gamboa lost his gold medal to this guy in the AMs.....what do you think of his skills?

Go to Boricua Boxing on twitter, a few days ago, they gave an update on Collazo, and said he will be back in April, and will go back down to 147 afterward and that he plans on having a big 2011.

Like yeykax said he still needs to be prove himself against better opposition before you make that sort of statement.

I remember his first few fights he looked like trash against such weak opponents, but last two fights he looked like the champion weve all dreamed of.

I like the fact that hes able to evade punches while still being on the offensive.

His size is a big big advantage over Juanma and especially over Gamboa.

Looks bad-ass but the competition he's faced isn't too good. He's been a pro longer than Gamboa. What's the hold up? Did he get hurt or something?

We don't know whats the hold up, hes fought on PPVs, ESPN, tecate, Showtyme, only HBO left, HBO you hear me pick him the *** up or I'ma get really angry ok Ima get really sad LOL in the beging of my highlight it explains no one wants to fight him, I can only say, that Arum doesnt want to hurt his cash cows Gamboa and Juanma by inducing this guy to the public !!!

He looks good and is certainly better than most of Gamboa's opponents but no need to move him along so fast, he needs to be some good past prime fighters and other contenders before we can say where he is at.
