It's a shame that Freddy Norwood is still fighting. He was a great featherweight Champion with many defences, and a future Hall of Famer, until he was robbed by a combination of Smoke Gainer and the outrageous ref, who held him and allowed Gainer to punch him low at the same time. When he collapsed, the ref, instead of warning Gayner or taking a point, or giving Norwood time to recover, counted him out. There's NO DOUBT that the ref was against him and wanted to get rid of him as he deliberately counted to 20, and then awarded a KO.

Norwood could have continued, in fact jumped up, but was waiting for the ref to take proper action....which he didn't.

Anyway at 43 years old and at 140 he should never be stepping into the ring. A Shame.
