The European champion in the cruiserweight division, Alexander Frenkel (23-0, 18 KO), trains for his a possible first defense of the title against veteran Silvio Branco (61-10, 37 KOs). Alexander won the title in a difficult fight last September last year against Enzo Maccarinelli, which took place in England. The parties have until March 31 to reach an agreement on the fight details. Alexander has resumed training after suffering an arm injury, which prevented him from defending the title in February.
