  • Comments Thread For: Felix Sturm Knocks Ronald Hearns Out in Seven

At Porsche Arena, Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm (35-2, 15KOs) dominated the action in a battle of jabs. Ronald Hearns (26-2, 20KOs) was unable to get past Sturm's guard but landed a few decent jabs that busted open Sturm's mouth. In the fifth, Sturm started to come on and Hearns began to fade. Sturm saw his opponent starting to fade out and put his punches together. In the seventh, Sturm caught Hearns flush with a bomb and blasted away until the referee jumped in to stop the action at 2:30.

When is Sturm going to fight a legit opponent? Better yet when he is he going to discover how to do anything other than a jab. Truly one of the worst "champions" in the whole world.

martinez will unify the divsion should these two german champions and pirog want to fight him.

im sure pirog is game for it.

see how winky wright looks aswell and see if he can give martinez a good fight.

Damn, if any one like Strum, Malignaggi, or Bradley, knock you out, you really suck and should hang them up.

Because Sturm never showed any interest in fighting Pavlik or Abraham, and has so far shown no interest in fighting Martinez; and because almost none of his opponents since he won the title have been even close to being top 10 Middleweights.
