Hollywood FL-Undefeated WBA #1-ranked welterweight contender Brad “King” Solomon (16-0, 7 KOs) defends his WBA International title against Demetrius “The Gladiator” Hopkins (30-1-1, 11 KOs) on March 18th at the Seminole Hard Rock Live. Solomon; who is also the WBC #6-ranked Latino champion, faces his stiffest test yet against Demetrius Hopkins (nephew of light heavyweight contender and former middleweight champion Bernard Hopkins.)

Solomon should be getting extra points for strength of schedule. He's taking on all prospects and winning easy, even in their own backyard. In the last year he beat undefeated Ray Robinson (who arguably beat Shawn Porter in his next fight) and Kenny Galarza.

Hopkins is a good fighter and has a tough style, his management definitely isn't afraid to put him in against anyone, I'm curious to see how Solomon handles it.
