    Former junior middleweight champion Roman Karmazin (40-4, 26KOs) of Russia has come to a final decision to retire from the sport of boxing. In his last fight, against Australian boxer Daniel Giele in October, Karmazin suffered a very bad twelfth round knockout. He spent several days in the hospital. His family is against a future return to the ring. Karmazin will begin a new career direction as an active trainer.

      Good that he's getting out now. Was really sad that Sauerland stole the IBF middleweight title from him, but he had a good run and he wasn't getting any younger. Good luck to a true warrior

          It was he clearly won that fight, German boxing is garbage.
