LAS VEGAS - Cameron Dunkin, who manages WBO/WBC junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11 KOs), confirmed a Wednesday report by BoxingScene.com, that his fighter will face WBA counterpart, Amir Khan (24-1, 17 KOs), on July 23. Yeah, Las Vegas is very hot and uncomfortable in the summer. This fight would have been huge in Britian but I believe Tim Bradley didn't want to go there and be a victim of homecooking. At least in Vegas, it is a neutral site and it will be on HBO which is good enough for me. It's the one fight left that will determine the best 140 lber...

the fight is not signed and nothing is official... this is how GBP does it's press... they don't give you info all at once... the dole it out in minced portions... best to not pay any attention until after khan/mccloskey.

i beg to differ.....wbc = mexico, wba = panama, wbo = puerto ric and only IBF = USA..i'd hardly call that 'running the sport'..and while yes you've got HBO and showtime (we've got sky) the UK can put 4x the bums on seats of an average american gate. in fact i recently saw an article from an american boxing journo that said there was more atmosphere in a local london amateur boxing night than in many of the american pro events INCLUDING alexander v bradley - a so called 'marquee' fight for the US. sniff sniff....is that coffee?
