They are wrong, McCloskey is not a bum.

This is an ok fight considering it is not much more than a homecoming exhibition match, that doubles as a stay-busy fight while Bradley/Khan gets made.

GBP recently reported that they are making solid progress toward that fight.

Maidana > McCloskey > Bradley..... is hardly a shabby run.

Let's see what dudey can bring to the table.

I have seen mcloskey fight and he is no bum at all..he can definitely pull an upset...but realistically khan and his team knows there is bigger fish to fry and mcloskey is a safe enough opponent out of the bunch that was suggetsed...to make sure the winning streak keeps going until a bradley match.

He's not bum...he has good pop when he can land those wide hooks. One thing that's going to hurt him is that he keeps his hands low. He's hittable even by slow European opposition. Khan is the fastest junior welter out their and will make McCloskey look silly till he finishes him. I see khan stopping him early: 4-5 rounds.
