WBA flyweight champion Luis 'El Nica' Concepcion (22-1, 17KOs) has been released from the hospital after being gored by a bull during a festival event in the district of Bugaba, Chiriquí. Concepcion suffered multiple injuries. He was rushed to the emergency room after making a wrong move and the bull gored him. 'El Nica' received injuries to his thighs, buttocks and some scratches on his face. He said there were some bad lacerations but he should be fine in a couple of weeks. Concepcion noted that it wasn't his first time in a bull ring.
