Who will be winning in 3 years and why.. Top Rank or Golden Boy? Official Thread!

Like everything in boxing, from day to day everything could just flip.. All it would take is a couple fighters from one company to have a bad year and a couple fighters fromt he other company to have a big year.. There have been a lot of big moves being made lately. So, considering both organizations' stables and business savvy. In 3 years who will be on top? Poll to follow please discuss!
    30
    Golden Boy.
    30.00%
    9
    Top Rank.
    70.00%

I don't see Golden Boy doing anything. They were looking strong 1-2 years ago but they just seem stagnant lately...

I really can't see GBP taking over. When Oscar talked about boxing needing UFC sort of monopoly and that Golden Boy was the only organization capable of doing it.. Sounded more like the ship was going down to me. Then signing Malignaggi and I thought Jermaine Taylor? Golden Boy is looking like +1000 to be on top in a couple years.

I will say this Golden Boy brought in quite a few prospects when they started working with Cameron Dunkin so we could indeed see a shift when some of them come to fruition

          They've got a solid stable: http://www.goldenboypromotions.com/fighters/

The monopoly thing was really ******. I'm glad boxing is not like the UFC in that way. The fighters get hosed in UFC. They don't really have a monopoly anyways, even though it seems like it. There are a bunch of other MMA promotions in the world...

Top Rank will be winning for the next ten years, for the simple fact that they know how to bring up prospects.

It really depends on how long Bob is at the helm at Top Rank. That dude is a genius, love him or hate him. He can't be outdone, especially by Schaefer and DLH.

Golden boy really suffered when Oscar retired, Mosley started drawing and losing, Ortiz got pwned, Baby Bull turned out to be okay.. and Hopkins "fought" "RJJ.."

Once Bob Arum dies or ages to the point his edge really dulls Top Rank has no one to replace him as a mouth piece and front man. He has set it up to run but without Arum out front things will not be like they are now. If Arum starts grooming a front man this could be different but I doubt he would do such a thing.

Considering Arum's age I don't think you can really look that far into the future.

^^^ This is my belief. He's getting up there in years although he looks great. Boxing will definitely take a big blow when he passes on, but I imagine he'll find someone very solid to takeover for him.
