In terms of pure skill I dont see how Pacquiao or Jones are at the top of the list. they were mostly physically gifted(although of course they had skill as well). I would say that Marquez, Barrera and Morales were all higher than Pacquiao purely in the skill sense.
Rafa Marquez is highly underrated, I think hes as skilled as his brother.

Im surprised Ricardo Lopez and Kostya Tyszu havent been mentioned.

Hopkins, Mayweather Toney are all good choices others have mentioned.

DLH deserves a shout out.

Are we saying boxing skill? Or just great fighter? Because people putting Roy up in the top 5 for boxing skill arent hitting the mark IMO. When I think of being a fundamentally sound fighter with great PURE BOXING skills, I dont think you can include a freak of nature and athletic ability like Jones. Based on pure boxing ability, its a hard list to make. I can say with confidence that Floyd and JMM are in my top 5, but I would have to think about everyone else. Maybe Tszyu or Toney can go on the list. Maybe.
