I blame the ref. If A. Mercante Jr. Was the ref, he would have told Alexander to suck it up and fight on. Mercante was criticized at the cotto/foreman fight for having foreman fight injured but we see why its important for a ref to encourage a fighter to continue. Some boxers will QUIT when the money is secured and they think they have a chance to come out with a win. We've seen lots of fighters pull these stunts over the years. Recently Cintron, Dirrell, Clottey(vs. Cotto), now Alexander.

Bradley is a guy who believes in himself, his faith, his family, someone will have to take it from him. Devon wasnt strong enough physically or mentally to do that.
