According to Emanuel Steward, trainer and manager of Andy Lee, the winner of his boxer's upcoming fight with John Duddy will fall in line for a title fight. The deal is not yet done, but Steward says there is an 80% chance that Lee and Duddy will fight each other on the undercard to Sergio Martinez’s defense of the WBC 160-pound title against Sergei Dzinziruk on March 12.

So Martinez's 2011 might shape up to be:

Dzinzurik (sp?) in March
Lee-Duddy winner in the Summer
Cotto in the fall

Not a bad year IMO. Depending on how he performs, could net him a second straight, or first depending on who you ask, FOTY award.

lee has fought nothing but journeymen since being stopped by vera. how the hell is he the most logical challenger? duddy is probably a step up for him lol. this whole sport is really starting to frustrate me. neither one of those guys deserve any kind of big fight. i guess the middleweight division is just that bad. maybe hbo is pissed about losing their great white hype in pavlik?
