British welterweight Matthew Hatton is very interested in facing Saul "Canelo" Alvarez on March 5 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Alvarez's promoter, Golden Boy Promotions, was trying to get WBA welterweight champion Vyacheslav Senchenko, who rejected an offer of $550,000 dollars to take the fight. A source told Mexican papers that Hatton would come a lot cheaper, at around $200,000, and Canelo would receive between $250-300,000 for the fight.

I'll give Hatton props if he gets this fight cause it's a hard hard fight for him man .I remember reading about this on esb and some were saying he would get decapatated in this fight man .

why dont senchenko fight zaveck then and see who is the most worthy of being a nobody that holds a belt that means nothing.

hattons run from no-one. thats why we loved ricky so much...he challenged himself, win or lose.

Sounds like you need a break from watching boxing, FB. Hatton is an average boxer trying to make a living. If you think thats a disgrace you probably ain't much of a fan of the sport.

I think its a great fight for canelo to see what he has, we kno he has a lil punchin power but this fight is the first live hungry opponent he has canelo doest look that good when he gettin punch at hes not really that slick, so i think is a good match up
