WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao shot back at some of the critics of his upcoming May 7 defense against Shane Mosley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The bulk of his anger deals with peopl who believe the fight with Mosley will be easy. He spoke about putting his health on the line in each and every fight and how a single blow could ened things. He won't overlook Mosley, who Pacquiao considers to be one of his most dangerous opponents. Pacquiao plans to train just as hard as he's done for prior mega bouts.

This is why I like Manny because he is real with himself, he knows who he's up against. he has the confidence to feel he's going to win but the respect to understand the hardships that await him once that 1st round bell rings..

Well the list of people who felt Shane was a lil long in the tooth after Floyd beat him includes your promoter, trainer, and strength and conditioning coach. If they think he's shot, why should the general public think otherwise?

Look, I'm not saying he is the best opponent for Manny, but he clearly is the most dangerous. Regardless of his age, Mosley is the hardest hitting WW since Trinidad.

Manny hasn't faced a puncher with Shane's power since Sigsurat at 112. Again, not defending this fight, just saying that if Manny is caught slipping....dude is gonna get KTFO.

Shane lost some pop over the years, but when he manages to land flush, it could be over for little pac.
