just today the former edmonton combative sports chairman & former executive secretary treasurer of the canadian boxing federation got elected to a 2 year term as president of the commonwealth boxing council.he has also served as NABF secretary treasurer & WBC womens championship commitee...so what does this all mean? his first order of buisness is to start getting more top ranked canadian fighters in the commonwealth title pictures.as we all know it has been strictly british fighters getting the shots the last 5 or so years while aussies,canadians & other commonwealth countries boxers have been getting shafted.guys like trupish,frank white,henney,cermak,pajkic,fields,& any other canadian fighter will now be in the commonwealth title picture.means more british fighters showcased here & our fighters going overseas...its great for canadian boxing & the sport in whole...great news!!!
