Comments Thread For: Zab Judah-Victor Ortiz Possible if Kaizer Mabuza Bails

An interesting situation is brewing with the vacant IBF junior welterweight title. Last Thursday, Main Events won a scheduled purse bid at the IBF's headquarters in New Jersey, for the right to stage a fight between Zab Judah and Kaizer Mabuza of South Africa. The two boxers will battle for the organization's vacant 140-pound title.

Zab's only chance is in the early rounds whilst he's still dangerous. Otherwise Ortiz stops him in the 9th.

A fight with Zab would prove if Ortiz is the real deal.

Lets hope for Zabs sake this fight goes through, otherwise he is going to get KTFO by Ortiz.

Agree 100%. Both guys tend to fall apart if the fight goes beyond the 6 thround, so it would be a 50/50 fight.

I thought this fight should have been happened, this is a great fight and will tell the story of which of these fighters has progressed and which one has fell off..If it comes off I'm taking Judah,Ortiz looks like anyone who can land on him can discourage him and take his will away..Ortiz looks like a fighter who is young but done..Judah outboxes Ortiz if they fight right now imo,but I like this fight and would love to see it..

Zab Judah just keeps getting title shots for some reason.

I got Ortiz by KO. Neither are that strong mentally but I feel Ortiz can take Judah's best shot better than Judah can take his.
