Speaking with the Ulster Star, super middleweight Brian Magee said there is nothing to fear from IBF champion Lucian Bute. Magee challenges him for the title in a Showtime televised fight on March 19 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. Bute signed a major network deal with Showtime and Magee is receiving the biggest payday of his entire career to become the first opponent of that deal.

Magee isn't going to beat Bute, but I think he'll be a sterner test than the rest of Bute's most recent opposition (which isn't saying much I suppose...). Magee has some boxing skill and he won't be there to be hit as often as the face-first brawlers Bute has fought lately. I hope Magee can pull the upset, but it's highly unlikely.
