Wlad and manny steward need to come up with another gameplan to beat Haye

the punch and grab as much as you can strategy doesn't work against David Haye.
Wlad's hero John Ruiz who has mastered that boxing style was no match against Haye.

I think Wlad need's another style, maybe something that requires some boxing skills. Time will tell if he can adapt.

What do you guys think? Will the punch and grab as much as you can style work for Wlad this time?

they will have to do exactly that, haye will be by far quickest and strongest guy those two would have faced together

imo i already know 100 percent haye will knock wlad out early, within 6 rounds, he will land a huge right and wlad will do the chicken dance. haye will the end it, people can have a go but I promise you this is happening

I know man, ie been saying this for 3 years. Wlad has never face someone with the skills, speed and power of Haye. When Haye lands it's over. I see Haye ducking Wlads jab and throwing a big right hand to ko him

What about when Wlad lands? I agree Haye has a chance with his speed/power if he can get inside. But hes gonna have to eat punches to get there.

Oh and LOL@ comparing Wlad to John Ruiz.

Wlad is in way over his head in this fight. Haye will be too fast for him.

Haye has good footwork and reflexes. I don't see Wlad landing big

Ruiz was having a lot of success with his jab against Haye. This is a major issue.

Hate to come across like Wlad Owns here but,

Wlad's piston jab + Haye's atrocious head movement = Haye gets his shit pushed in.

Wlad needs to eliminate the speed of the Haye, possibly having to maul Haye, and make this fight ugly. Wlad has a massive advantage in terms of strength and height, he needs to use it BIG TIME if this fight happens. I keep hearing how Wlad should stay at range but I see this as a dangerous tactic as Haye is fast for a HW and he will find a way in often (trust me), if this does happen then I hope Wlad has plan B. Wlad needs to use his physical strength in my opinion, now this a tough one, as Wlad doesn't fight on the inside but he really needs to learn the inside game vs Haye, this is my opinion. Wlad would completely OWN Haye against the ropes.

Manny steward has been in the game long enough to find a way to beat Haye. Don't forget an old Ruiz was tagging Haye on numerous occasions. Also, Haye has horrible defense, he is easy to hit.

It's a toss up but I believe the one with the best game-plan wins this fight. Wlad is smart, I expect him to beat Haye.

If Wlad stays in range Haye will rush in and have leverage to throw a hard punch.

If he stays in close range... watch the corrie sanders fight to see what will happen.

Haye has superior boxing skills, Wlad is taller thats it.

                  superior boxing skills >>> height.

haye had no sparring for the ruiz fight, he had a huge cut on his eye, thats why he went to the kill

look at haye vs valuev and his defence in that fight, it was superb, it really was, he has better boxing skills than wlad and the thing is wlad is not quick enough to catch haye

he will just get past his jab and land his bomb

wlad is not a fighter at all like vitali, he wont have the heart to continue once a big shot is landed

the most dangerous fght for haye is vitali because he has a great chin and is a natural born fighter
