Khan beats Judah, which would be another good name on his resume. But Judah is past-prime but still a game opponent.

He won't be "elite" status until he beats Bradley/Alexander winner. That was decide the Lineal/Ring title at 140lbs. If he comes lineal and unified champ he'd easily be top-10 pound for pound. I'd say number 7 P4P.

I agree khan is solid world class right now, needs to beat bradley alexander winner to enter elite status, which I think would also put him in the lower end of the top 10 p4p

Bantam-weight tourney winner should fight Donaire/Montiel winner. This would decide number-5 P4P.

Super-Middleweight Super-6 tourney winner fighters either Bute (or Kessler if he returns from injury). The winner of this would decide P4P number-6.

Winner of Khan vs. Bradley/Alexander winner would become P4P number 7.

Almost elite? People need to look up the meaning of the word:

elite; the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons.

i.e. a group with which he can compete with, of junior welterweights, of which he's clearly elite at #2.

Doesn't work that way in Boxing imo. Its like being the best of a bad bunch, or a good bunch, rather than the best of an exceptional bunch. I think Khan is potentially elite, but he needs to beat someone like Pacquiao, Mayweather to prove that, guys like Alexander wont co-sign him as elite cause they aren't elite themselves imo.

Mayweather and Pacquiao are the remaining generation of elite fighters that are either shot. If Khan doesn't beat Mayweather or Manny, he will have to consistently fight the best and have longevity for me to call him elite, simply because he might not have the competition to distinguish himself as that, so the next best thing, would be to reign with distinction.

no your talking about special fighters. The guys you mention are special fighters, elite fighters are generally considered fighters who are world champions, but generally considered better than your average world champion, or guys who are maybe 2 weight world champions, and have beaten a pound 4 pound guy or another high calibre guy in their division.

Marquez, mayweather, hopkins, pacquiao, are special fighters. ATG's. Elite fighters are guys like martinez, or joel casamayor at his best as an example from the lower weight classes. Thats the way I see it anyway.
