    i just finished watching this match about 35 minutes ago i had to dvr it with so much that went on yesteday sport event wise. i enjoyed the bout and mijares had a good night but its just the first step. lets see how he does from here on out and best of luck

      I wathced it too and Mijares looked pretty good in some spots, but he also showed what got him in that rough patch. When he was doing stick and move though in rounds 6-9, he looked great. I had the fight 117-111, but could see 116-112. Maybe even 115-113, but it seems the judges always don't give Mijares' style credit for some reason.

      It was a fun fight to watch though regardless. A bit like the old mijares.
