I think Ponce de Leon can last longer the second time but sometimes he looks good and then he looks slow. Against Escalante he looked pretty improved countering nicely with the right hand something he never did. Last saturday he looked ok, it was an ok performance where after the knockdowns he looked slow and tired throwing his usual wide punches. I think he needs a bit more work. Would be interesting to see him again against Caballero.

I see Ponce DeLeon bringing a much tuffer fight. He might last 3 rounds on this one. Style wise, Juanma is all wrong for Ponce.

I really wanted to see him against Caballero because I think he would beat him if they fight again. Against Juanma it might be competitive this time but getting Kayoed too, maybe within 7 rds.

He deserves a title shot against someone, he has won 7 straight since the JuanMa loss against 4 decent contenders.

If he fought John instead I would give him a great chance of winning and would be the 2nd best fighter John ever fought.
