By comparison, the current crop of 126/130ers is HOT GARBAGE.

You caught him at the tail end of his career, after 300+ amateur fights (inc. Gold Medal) and 40+ fights (most against title challengers), after spending years of partying and ****ing Cuban females in Little Havana.

u do realize casa fought huge punchers in freitas and corrales. he took those shots. and katz had him going to the body not head. jmm is the only guy to have ever stopped him, hes another great and that was late in casa's career.

Yea i know but he was also knocked down by A lesser fighter in santa cruz. Im not bashing casa i know he was a great fighter and would **** lopez and gamboa in his prime im just saying he didnt have the greatest chins there fore giving them a punchers chance.

no excuses but casa was obviously very unprepared for that fight. i dont think that is a great example to gauge his chin. being stopped only once late in his career while fighting top level guys with power is a better gauge imho

130lbs is trash with the exception of Jorge linares if he would stay focused but featherweight (126lbs) has some good fighters like juanma, gamboa, John and 2nd tier fighters like Cab. Rafael Marquez, WBC champ in recess Elio Rojas, Hasegawa, Mikey Garcia, Daniel ponce de Leon, and Jhonny Gonzalez. But bantemweight is heating up with the likes of WBC/WBO champ Montiel, and others like Donaire, Moreno, Mares, yohonny Perez and IBO titleholder Vic Darchinyan

I look at the current batch of guys and I have no idea why people are hyping them up.

I have a mancrush on Gamboa, but after him, the guys are really not that good. Caballero, JuanMa, friggin' Litzau? Are you serious?

Do you know how bad JMM or Corrales would eviscerate Juan Manuel Lopez at 130?

Can you imagine Caballero vs Floyd?
                Lol @ mancrush.

Yeah i know he was also droped multiple times by kats. Also by freitas and corrales. If your are droped multiple time by diffrent fighters it means you dont have the best chin. Just like one of my favorites in marquez. But what both lack in their chin they make it up with heart and determination to get up and win.
