Mexican boxer Rigoberto “El Español” Alvarez has not yet finished his run with interim super welterweight title of the World Boxing Association (WBA) title. He won the belt on October 9 when he beat Japan's Nobuhiro Ishida in a very difficult fight that was organized in Nayarit, Mexico. However, Alvarez must soon defend his title to get himself pushed to world status. Alvarez is the older brother of Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Cotto, the WBA's champion at 154, was elevated to "super champion" status, and the "regular belt" remains vacant.

The title of this article says "Canelo's Brother Ready For Trout, and Miguel Cotto....¿Does Canelo's brother have a name? or ¿Is it that he's better known for being TOMATO CAN KILLER Canelo Alvarez's brother than for being a fighter & WBA belt holder(so called champion) himself? THAT'S SAD!!! When a fighter & CHAMPION is better known for being the brother of a CONTENDER than for being A CHAMPION HIMSELF!!! Canelo is ranked among the top 10 in the 154lbs rankings, yet his brother(who IS the WBA champ) doesn't appear among the top 10 in most of the rankings(Ring magazine, boxrec ect ect) Mostly everyone knows that this LEECH ORGANISM practically GAVE him this belt!!! Yeah the guy is a bum who doesnt deserve even the interim belt. But why the hate on canelo you hating ass rican. Canelo is young and he is not proclaming himself the best fighter out there or doesnt have a real belt to defend. Its good wat hes doing building himself up and learning along the way he is not ready for the elite fighters yet.

The WBA is a joke title. All the fighters that own this piece of **** belt should just ban together and have a huge bonfire with this worthless piece of junk! They are the biggest joke of all the sanctioning bodies, they have like 12 champions in each division!
