  • Comments Thread For: DiBella: "Martinez-Margarito Rematch Would Be a Murder"

One of the obvious questions being asked to promoter Lou DiBella, is whether WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez is interested in avenging the first loss of his career, which came at the hands of Antonio Margarito in February of 2000. Over ten years ago, a 16-0 Martinez was stopped in seven rounds by Margarito on the Morales-Barrera undercard at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

LOL, Margarito was all heart, no skill and he finally got exposed three times if you ask me. I think if Cotto goes to the body more he does the same thing Manny did even if he had loaded gloves.

does anybody remember months ago when the WBC was willing to make Chavez Jr. the mandatory challenger for Martinez? hahahahahahhaa, damn, no joke - I'd pay $40 bucks just to see that lil daddys ***** get tossed around for 12 rounds.
