    no brainer for arum.

i think they're looking at mosley now because arum has no one left at 140-154.

also arum might be ****ing with gbp.

notice how now he's trying to get mosley to go free agent and not have gbp involved.

also notice how they keep mentioning jmm now who is also gbp but they're talking about marquez can have the fight if gbp has minimal involvement in the promotion.

I totally understand my dude. My argument is how do we turn a blind eye at this but bash Floyd?

I know the Cotto fight was a "good" move. It would have been GREAT if no "catch" was involved. But that's the thing, there is ALWAYS a "catch" with Pac. Like this, They didn't want Mosley then who was #1 but claim to want Mosley now? You say its because of promotional issues. Well then HOW do we ONLY blame Mayweather (who falls under GBP too) for the fight not happening?

The best fight the best or at least that's what we preach to Mayweather about. Why cant we hold the same standards for Pac? We cant blame the promotional aspect of it on the Mosley fight not happening when he was #1 at WW and under GBP but then say the Mayweather fight didn't happen because it was only Mayweather's fault and that he's scared and or a coward. Using that logic, we would have to say that Mosley is scared and or a coward because Pac turned down the fight from 141-147...... ****** isn't it....?

    Double standards.......

    • "economically feasible", "a strong following"....dang, I thought Pacquiao was the 'people's champ' who fought the best and anybody even if they didn't bring alot of $$$, I feel so deceived, smh.

Marquez had that slick counter punching style and look what happened. Pacquiao had four years from their 2004 encounter to become "way better" and "improve", but look what happened.

I think Pacman is best Pound for Pound but I'm not about to let him duck out on this the way Pacman is running from Williams is the same way Floyd is running from Pacman!
did u see the height difference?? is it feasible?? dude williams should be fighting middleweights not anything below MW....

            • I have said the same thing many times. It's not really being racists...It's simply a fact that African American Fighters are slick and don't come straight ahead into the front door to get hit.

I guess Koncz thinks Clottey had a big following when he fought pacman... gotta love it.

U must be crazy to think that, don't confuse Pac's dominance over walking zombies with Tim Bradley.

You Mayweather fans are a trip lol. For years you guys get harassed by Floyd haters about his level of opposition. In comes Pacquiao, a dude literally fighting at Jr Lightweight 2 years ago now beating guys like Cotto and Margarito who were seasoned Welterweights, 2 guys Floyd genuinely never expressed interest in fighting. So now, the argument becomes "Pacquiao doesn't fight top black fighters".

Hilarious how things turn out sometimes lol.
                  Hilarious it is....
In 2006 when Mayweather entered 147, he beat 2 OUT OF THE TOP 3 right off the bat to become the #1 WW (NO catchweight).

As People like to say money makes the world go round, those fights for Floyd wouldn't have made him money as we know Arum doesn't like to deal with Floyd and or Top Rank and its the reason Floyd fired Arum and then fought Hoya at 154 (no catchweight and agreed to ALL of Hoya's demands) to make the most money he had ever made plus was one of the TOP PPV's of all time (non heavy). It's the same case here with Pac, they didn't want Mosley because was under GBP. Or was it because he was "too good"?

You can't have it both ways my dude. Either Pac ducked Mayweather and Mosley because one is "too good" and you would have to assume the other was "too great" and too much of a REAL threat for Pac....

                  Or

Team Pac/Arum doesn't like to deal (share money) with GBP so the fight with Pac vs Floyd/Mosley didn't happen and you can't ONLY blame Mayweather for the negotiations failing both times as we know Pac walked away the first and more importantly THE MOST important time as BOTH SIDES agreed there where actual negations AND everything was AGREED on but OST which is not under the commission's rules JUST AS Pac's demands weren't yet Floyd agreed to all..... The alleged second time around Floyd went on "vacation" to fight in court which ironically was where Pac wanted to fight Floyd in the first place.....

Pacquiao is being compared to legends of the sport like Ali, Duran and Sugar Ray Robinson.

Those are heavy compliments to give to any boxer. With that high praise comes higher expectations.

When Bernard speaks about slick black fighters; he's talking about fighters like Sweetpea Whitaker, Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones, Bernard himself, Ali, Ray Leonard, Mike Mccallum, Toney, Too Sharp Mark Johnson, etc...

Those above listed names are the epitome of GREAT SLICK AFRICAN AMERICAN BOXERS.

If Pac is supposed to be top 10 all time (or whatever the general public is saying) then he should have at least a victory over a slick, agile, cagy and intelligent fighter (most of those tend to be african americans).

The only option Pac has is Floyd Mayweather.

People are starting to get fed up of Pac fighting slow, plodding, defenseless punching bags (clottey, cotto, marg, hatton).

Lets see how great Pac looks against guys like Floyd, Martinez, Guzman, etc...

It just feels like Pac is trying to fight the least threatening fighters while claiming to have this outstanding career.
They know, but because they are Pac fans they are required to remain ignorant.

                    • Exactly! Clottey had zero following and for anyone asking about who? Have you ever heard of Paul Williams? He's been calling out Pacquaio... Pacquaio wont even mention his name. Arum mentions Williams as a possible opponent. Williams will KO Pacquaio.
