I'm suprised this thread hasn't recieved attention from all the amateur fighters on the board. You bastidz, what's your take on this? I believe this non headgear will lead to these guys basically switching over to prostyle fighting which is good but this might affect their performance in Olympic matches. I mean sure this will still be amateur/pro but I think guys will just start switching over to the prostyle and this may very well hurt their olympic careers, no? I like it this idea though, I hope more teams pop up around the US, especially NY, I mean c'mon how can NY not have a squad? What say you guys?
