Comments Thread For: Audley Harrison's Trainer is Confident of a Haye Upset

Audley Harrison's trainer Shadeed Suluki is promising a "new Audley" on Saturday night at the MEN Arena in Manchester. Harrison will challenge David Haye for the WBA heavyweight title. Audley has had a lot of ups and downs in his career, but he's been on a roll as of late. Suluki says people are talking and they too see a different version of Audley coming out.

People looked too much into Audleys defeats but shouldnt i think. He was making slow progress as a heavyweight because the money made him soft and he wasnt going about progressing as he should have done. The defeats made him learn, and was his way forward. That was the only way he could learn IMO, and that was from defeats. When he was knocking people out that wasnt really benefitting him.

He knew those losses didnt mean he wouldnt fight for a title one day, and he didnt feel doom and gloom like his critics felt about him. From those defeats he knew what he had to do, and Haye might face the backlash from it. Those losses were just a journey to get him where he needed to be. Hes there now.

Thats bull, Audley is his own worst enemy he had the skills
(he's far to old now) but he never used them.

If it was about the money making him soft where did he go wrong when he fought Martin Rogan a semi pro taxi driver.

The simple fact is he hasn't lived up the hype, he wasn't and isn't as good as he was made out to be, and will be made to look a fool by Haye.

With how crappy Harrison has looked as a pro, I'd say if he did pull off the upset it should be considered bigger than Tyson/Douglas. I just think Harrison has looked like dog****, I mean he has to try to win rounds. Michael Spott made Harrison look horrible in their fight until Harrison knocked him out late.

          De Ja Vu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Audley and his team telling us how they are prepared like never before to crush their opponent...yadda yadda yadda..i think they are well planned etc, but when it comes to execution Fraudley NEVER DELIVERS!!!!!!!!!

thats his problem. the marketing and talk is FIRST CLASS...the delivery is NOT! could this be different? i doubt it....but i suppose it could be....i'm just not holidng out for it as history has a funny way of repeating itself.

I just don't see how Audley can do it, he has one shot.. the left hook. Apart from that, he does NOTHING better than Haye. Man, Audley was even getting dominated by Sprott, plus he got knocked out cold vs Sprott in the first fight, he was just lucky that left landed in the 12th otherwise he'd be retired now already. Haye will blow him out of the water in under 6 rounds, mark my words.

you know what actually sells this fight for me, (not that i'll be buying it) is the fact that this time if audley does not deliver come fight night he will actually be made to pay for all the hot air those lips of his spill.....I can see the oxygen coming out!

This fight is a joke, Gaye knows it, Fraudley knows, and the drunk delusional Brits paying for this fight know it.

I agree the fight is is a farce, I am British and a Haye fan but am disappointed he has taken this rather than a K Brother. However, brandishing an entire nation, "drunk delusional Brits" is extermely ignorant. You are obviously an obnoxious Yank who has turned to supporting a Ukrainian as the USA can't find a heavyweight of note for love nor money. For nation of 250 Million people, that is poor!

Not many so called Brits agree with this fight, after all the chat about cleaning up the heavyweight division, Haye should have take then latest 50:50 split with no rematch clause to fight Wladmimir or Vitali, he has become too greedy.
