I remember his fight with Emmanuel Augustus. Something was totally wrong with Oliveira by the end of that fight. He was pacing around all weird and growling.

Shame on everyone involved with this fight. The promoters were willing to get Oliveira killed for the sake of putting a name on the resume of Joey Spina. He is a welterweight and they had him at light heavyweight for this fight.

        that's great to hear.

now if only boxing had some sort of "retirement fund' for guys like Ray Oliveira, who are obviously in need of money.

That LOGO of the Dreamer is really nice. I have a sort of similiar Andes type picture in my living room.

About Olivera he wasn't growling he was moaning in pain. It was announced almost immediately after the fight that he was OK that it was a suspected pinched nerve in his neck vertebrae. And do it turned out to be.

Wow, that totally explains why the last couple of rounds and the end went the way they did. I always thought it was weird how nobody really seemed to be paying attention to him while he was pacing around and moaning.
