BoxingScene.com was advised by manager Kurt Emhoff that an offer has been made for Giovanni Lorenzo (29-3, 21KOs) to face Kelly Pavlik (36-3, 32KOs) on the HBO pay-per-view undercard to Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito on November 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Pavlik was scheduled to face Daniel Edouard, but he was withdrawn for medical reasons.

I agree Lorenzo isnt a bum but he isnt a guy who should beat Pavlik either. This is a very good comeback fight for Kelly and hopefully sets up a Williams Pavlik match down the road. I still think that fight would be a foty candidate if it ever comes off and i would favor Pavlik.
