Judge Duane Ford single-handedly put an end to one of the greatest records in boxing history by erroneously conceding the twelfth round to Jermain Taylor, a round that was, without a shadow of a doubt, won large by Bernard Hopkins. Had he scored it correctly, Bernard not only would have been given a draw, he would have retained his title for a record twenty-first time. [details]

Bad article
I don't understand how you say Hopkins should have earned a draw (why should he be proud of a draw anyways?) based on your consensus of press row journalists. You go on to say how ex-boxers should be involved more, so are any of the journalists ex-boxers? Your basis of the scoring being wrong is totally condrictary of what your article is saying. Just because press row scoring and final punch stats say one thing doesn't mean anything. Hopkins clearly won the last few rounds convincingly, reason for why the final punch stats say what they say, but Taylor easily won the first six. By the way, since you are on ex-boxer's nuts for getting involved in judging, Whittaker on Friday night fights gave Taylor the first 8 and said he easily won, so now what excuse are you going to use?
P.S. I bet a majority of those who say Hopkins won is because they bet on him.
