According to reports coming out of Mexico, former triple division champion Marco Antonio Barrera is not going to fight on September 15 against David Daiz in the main event of a Mexico card to celebrate Mexican Independence Day. Jorge Barrera, the head cornerman and brother of Marco, says his brother is planning to go on vacation with his family in Cancun. Jorge says Marco is planning to fight in either October or November and they have already informed promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions, who was putting that September show together.
