I believe Michael Griffin is a very average referee, but he looks impartial.

I saw him give a standing 8 count to a man who turned his back on his opponent while he was hurt. There was no standing 8 count rule in effect... He should have waved the fight off right away. So he's a bit amateurish, although they all make mistakes once in a while...

If I'm not mistaken, he reffed Kessler-Froch...
