Did anyone else notice a difference in Judah under Mustafa Muhammad?

But Ubaldo Hernandez is even worse than Santa Cruz. That's why I made that comparison. He looked better against a better opponent. In the Hernandez fight he rushed in and went for the kill just like he always did (and he usually gases out), but against Santa Cruz he boxed and looked for openings more. He looked more focused, and ready to fight for 12 rounds. I really think adding Mustafa Muhammad helped him out. I also think his stamina will show improvements. The only issue I have is how he'll respond to getting tagged. He never was good at taking punches.

Nah, young Zab could go 12 rounds and some against good opp. His 12 rounds against Mickey Ward were made to look easy and he threw tons of punches, defended well, and finished strong under non stop pressure and getting hit a few times with the Ward liver shot.

He also schooled Junior Witter for 12 rounds, better than Kotelnik, Bradley and Alexander did. And this was a younger version.

VERY good move by Judah to FINALLY dump his hot-headed, short tempered fighter who would do more damage to Judah in the corner than the opposing boxer during a round

Eddie Mustafa Muhammad is a very good trainer, I hope to see great things out of the two, even at this stage of Judah's career.

          Judah-Alexander anyone?...........anyone?..........

Don't remind me of that fight... Witter did not know what to do with Zab's speed, even though he was pretty fast himself, so he resorted to holding the entire fight... I just yawned.

Oh and yeah, it can happen. Look at Ishe Smith, he's not the same fighter he was before he joined Muhammad. Looks like he knows how to build a fighter's mentality.

In my opinion against Ubaldo Hernandez, he was rushing in and attacking, which used up a lot of his stamina. But against Santa Cruz where he had Mustafa Muhammad, he boxed and moved a lot more, and set up his punches. He looked focused and ready to go for 12 rounds without fading.

He might fight Theophane in Oct.

The guy who got the gift decision against Delvin Rodriguez.
