Good to see the WBC is as crappy as the WBA. DeMarco gets hammered by Valero, then beats a guy who has been Ko'd in his two previous fights and become the mandatory challenger at lightweight? Rojas last two rounds in his last title fight and is then put in another fight for an open title? Classic examples of why the governing bodies are just a pile of rotting ****.

WOW the WBC must not like American fighters at lightweight. I could have sworn Anthony Peterson was the number 1 contender for nearly 2 years. They want that green belt in particular to stay in Mexico...

Right on, Demarco could blitz by Valero who even ate some elbows while waxing that ass and they make Demarco the mandatory and even attach a September date to go along with it. B.S.

IMO Peterson is totally getting screwed. He is better than a ****load of the fighters getting shots, including DeMarco. IMO he beats the tar out of Soto, who has mostly fought crappy opposition the past few years

Yeah apparently he's now fighting in an eliminator for the WBA, he's never going to get a shot. Why couldn't be for the interim title that guarantees Rios/Peterson winner gets a shot. At this point Arum will have Peterson fighting for a title when he's 30. I don't get it he's potentially the better fighter and has KO power.

i think once he accepted against rios,he was removed from the wbc, which in a way i like that fight more, rios vs peterson, winner in line to face marquez, peterson is also #1 in wbo, that is going to be a great fight, rios vs peterson, can't wait for that one
