It's hard for people to back away from the hype train and look at it from a point of view where you take styles into account.

I remember not too long ago most thought Porter would beat Kirkland, not too long after that that Henry would beat Porter and Kirkland, after he didn't look too good in his last fight, they've retracted the Henry beating Kirkland thinking, but most still got him over Porter .

Porter made 147 for his last fight and Alvarez hasn't been able to get past 150 in his last couple fights. Let's see what happens in the future.

Really? He's pretty young, so I thought he just grew out of 147. It's a sign that losing those pounds might be straining him, so unless he stays in shape, he won't be able to make 147 too much longer. He's fighting every 2-3 months, so that's probably 1 of the reasons (to keep him in the gym).

Yeah bro thats exactly what he said.He dont want to strain his body to
147 within a couple of months.But he made it clear he wants his first
title shot at 147.But he does look like a tank at fight time,So i expect
him to be moving up soon.
