The idea of Manny Pacquiao fighting either Antonio Margarito or Miguel Cotto on November 13, leaves a bad taste in the mouth of promoter Dan Goossen. For the last two weeks, Goossen has been trying to get Paul Williams in position to fight Pacquiao in November. Williams has been campaigning at junior middleweight and middleweight in his last five fights, but plans to move back to welterweight before the end of the year.

pac should fight bradley or berto, but not williams. williams is a southpaw and not slick. he does nothing to prepare pac for floyd in '11, assuming floyd grows some nuts (big IF). bradley and berto are both righties who will get pac used to fighting slick orthodox fighters. bradley-first choice because he has better movement than berto, but berto is a good choice too.

pac's ultimate goal is floyd. floyd's scalp on his resume is the ultimate prize, not even close.

Arum just want to keep it in house. He said it himself. He was very clear about it , leaving nothing to misinterpretation. I would love Pac to fight Pwill ... against almost all physical disadvantages. Damn, win or lose, respect should be given.
But Goossen should move along and get Pwill some damn fights. Past achievements are good and all, but concentrate on giving daytime to Pwill. If he gets mainstream, opponents would come to him and not the other way around.

I want Pacquiao to fight this guys, just to prove a point. Bradley I am not impressed, he could not even knock down a guy who is very hittable in his last fight. Paul Williams chin is suspect. Berto looks gassed on his last fight. Noted that none of them had called Floyd out. Why? 'coz it's just a waste of time. He's the master of ducking that's why. no to cotto. margarito is just an intriguing fight. as a boxing fan, id rather see a berto or martinez fight. bradley? could be good while it lasts, like 2rounds. those looping punches would get tim nowhere against pac slashin straights. tim's got a lot of business to do at 140, hell he's not even the best at 140.
