Didn't he say before hand that he intended to take time off? I don't understand why people are complaining so much, he could try and put blame on Pacquiao's camp by saying the price cut wasn't what he wanted or they didn't agree on the drug test but he didn't.

He simply stated that at the moment his mind isn't on boxing. As Larry said my opinion will change if he fights later this year or starts negotiating a fight sometime soon.

bottom line is, dude has fans looking forward to this fight. we hear a deal is close weeks ago, then we hear all terms have been agreed to (from arum, i kno...), then next thing we hear from mayweather is he's not interested in fighting right now......

He gave the impression that he wanted to fight Pacquiao this year how, by not saying anything amidst all the rumors and speculation?
