He simply stated that at the moment his mind isn't on boxing. As Larry said my opinion will change if he fights later this year or starts negotiating a fight sometime soon.

Yea, and when he said that,

    virtually all the stans said,

"oh, hes just talking ****, no need to take what he said seriously."

if dude had no intentions on fighting this year again, he should've said that, and spared everyone the drama. floyd brings to mind lebron james, and i can't stand that dude.
He did. and none of you clowns wanted to believe it.

i wonder if he reiterated it during negotiations?

all this could've been killed had he manned up, and told greenberg he had no intentions on fighting again this year.....

saying that to a reported, it could be taken with a grain of salt, but saying to the president of HBO sports, who's you're go-between for negotiations, is an entirely different story, and i wonder if he said that to greenberg.....

bottom line is, dude has fans looking forward to this fight. we hear a deal is close weeks ago, then we hear all terms have been agreed to (from arum, i kno...), then next thing we hear from mayweather is he's not interested in fighting right now......

this is lebronish behavior, and it's not cutting it for me, as a mayweather fan.

That's what I'm saying he could have done, which is why I respect him for saying ''Look my mind is not on boxing at the moment''.

He acted unprofessionally and gave everyone the impression he wanted to fight Pacquiao when he didn't.

If he fights someone else this year it just reaffirms what most already think
He gave the impression that he wanted to fight Pacquiao this year how, by not saying anything amidst all the rumors and speculation? Before people were criticizing Mayweather for not saying anything, now people are mad that supposedly misled them into thinking that he was going to pursue a fight with Pacquiao even though he never said such a thing. You people will always find something to cry about.

I was a Tony fan once. But hey, **** happens, we move on. You're nearing the end of your rope with this guy and I don't blame you. Just wondering whats taking so long. All we've been hearing from fans like you is, "lets just wait and see". All of that started 5 years ago. We've waited long enough dude.
