When Floyd rejected Mosley's belt he showed that they're worthless to him right now in his career, so the belt won't even be relevant if pac tries to use it against him in negotiations.

the right thing would be for the champion to walk last which in this case is pac. if floyd had a major sanctioning body belt & pac had none pac would walk first as he did vs cotto.

mosley had the title floyd didnt but shane walked last because floyd was much more the bigger star & had more stature than shane who was starving for a big money fight after his divorce from jin.

floyd had the upper hand against shane & had to defer to floyd on almost everything. not the case against pac who is just as powerful & popular as floyd stature wise arguably more so.

just because floyd doesnt fight for the title & doesnt pay sanctioning fees doesnt mean pacquiao loses his status as champion of a major sanc body in the welterweight division. pac could pay sanc fees & its a title defense for him.
