    Former WBO welterweight champion Carlos "El Indio" Quintana tells Reymond Colon that he plans to a ten round fight in the month of September in the 154-pound division. Quintana has begun training and wants to put the April knockout loss to Andre Berto behind him.

    He was robbed of a kd against Berto and arguably even in rounds before he got taken apart. He could still give some guys problems. Seems like a mid round KO waiting to happen though. Just not very durable.

      I like Quintana and I dont think he gets enough credit for Good wins against Julio and Williams but I do agree with another poster, hes just not durable enough to fight with the top guys.

              cotto took quintana's heart, beat him down several times and made him quit

              why on earth would quintana want to go through that again

              angulo, cintron, maybe margarito if he can get that fight are interesting options

                He's nuts, Cotto would do worse to him. Clottey is looking for a fight this September they should both face each other. Because big fights are out of the question for those two.

                    Quintana was severly weight drain against Berto like I said. But he is slowing a bit. He can still be tough for anybody, but he is not very durable. So we will have to see!!
