The one thing about Roach is that he's always honest, that's who he is so people think he says things to get attention but that's not the case.

The funny thing, most of the things he has said have been true and come to pass, so it's not like he's talking out the side of his mouth.

Roach is a likable guy, that's why he gets the attention. I think he's a great trainer and a great person to be battling such a debilitating disease and doing what he does everyday.

      God bless him....

Look at Mannys fights before Cotto, who were they with?

And GBP does the Exact same thing

As well as every promotion out there

Why should they split 10 mil when they could keep it all them selves? Its business

          Roach fears Cotto at 154!!!

How are you gonna tell a fighter to retire after he just won a 154lb agaoinst the fighter yo didnt want to fight becaus eof his physial advantages.

Cotto VS Pacquiao at 154 lbs lets do it , Steward has revived teh salsa in his step

Prior to Cotto, Pacquiao fought 3 fighters all signed to GBP back to back to back with the exception of David Diaz.

Also keep in mind that GBP has a small stake in Pacquiao when thinking about the negotiations for Pac vs Mayweather.

Yea because saying a fighter doesnt have it anymore and needs to retire means he fears him.

He was asked what would you do if you trained Cotto, and he said "tell him to retire"

This means its not a mechanical problem and its that he just doesnt have it anymore

LOL it still doesnt even make sense when you look at it that way.

Mechanically speaking. Cotto trained himself for Pacquiao and still gave him the toughest fight at 147 lbs. Pacquiaos ear is never the sme after Cotto.

I Think its more bitterness than actual analysis when roach speaks of Miguel Cotto.

If Pacquiao fought an undrained Cotto at 154 it would only benefit Miguel and slow down Pacquiao

Roach knows his big advantage against Cotto was the weight. You lose power and stamina. Cotto is a whole new fighter at 154 coupled with Steward who has him looking like the old fighter

Based on that Logic he shouldve told Amir Khan to retire. At least Cotto hasnt been KTFO like that
