Pascal is def a good fighter, this is the fight that i expect the most maybe in this year, i still give the edge to Dawson though, damn yo this guy is fast...

Pascal would represent the 4th or 5th opponent that Dawson has beaten who is significantly better than anyone Bute has beaten.

Dawson is fighting a legit opponent in Pascal.

hbo wants to build Bute a little bit more before putting him in the big fights. The proposed Bhop fight is the perfect platform.

Pascal is very good comp for Dawson. He beats anyone at 168, hopefully him vs Bute can happen at a catchweight next year then the winner of the Super 6 can face the winner of that bout.

Dawson's biggest challenges are gonna be guys at 168, either them moving up or Chad dropping down. Pascal is no joke and can definitely win the fight but I don't pick him to. If Dawson gets bored waiting around for something to happen at 175, I'd love to see him go down and face Bute. Bute most likely won't wanna go up to 175 right now. It's a good time to make this fight if Dawson gets by Pascal since everyone else is tied up in the super 6 for a little while longer. Bute has a few other guys to fight at 168 but Dawson would bring a stiffer test than any of them.

The talk about Dawson dropping down just needs to stop. Now.

If he could do it, he would have done it. There has always been bigger names and more money for him if he were able to step down in weight.

It's like casually saying Bute should move down to 160 for a fight with Martinez or PWill.

People just can't get off Dawson's back. I don't get it. He is one of the select few fighters in the sport who has the potential to evolve into a HOF caliber fighter and the only thing holding him back is a ******ed boxing fan base that doesn't appreciate a guy who can box the living **** out of just about anyone on the planet.

Not only do people EXPECT Dawson to travel to fight an inferior fighter like Bute, but as we can see on the front page of this Forum people also EXPECT him to fight and beat every credible fighter from 168-Heavyweight.
