Sorry people, but Ali would have had his ass handed to him on a silver platter by several of this past decades contenders. Lennox would paralyze him. Prime Tyson would have used his wings for wishbones. Chris Burd would humiliate him. The list goes on and on.

Ali would of embarassed Lewis and Byrd. Tyson at his peak may of been the one to beat him though.

Dude, I can't believe you are going to go there with this Tyson ****! The only way Tyson would have beat Ali is at the end of Ali's career like Tyson did with Bonecrucher smith, Larry Holmes, etc. Ali in his prime would have made a fool out of Tyson worse that Buster Douglas and Evander Holyfield ever did!

The only Heavyweights throughout history that I consistantly see Ali having a lot of trouble with are Larry Holmes and George Foreman.

I know Ali already beat George, but it was very inconclusive for me and George just blew his wad early. His size and power would have potentially given Ali problems every time they'd meet.

Holmes had just about everything Ali had, but he was more technically proficient and had a better jab. Of course Ali had the edge in quickness/footwork, handspeed and he was a bit more crafty.

Ali would have frustrated the bejeezus out of any form of Tyson, and would have TKOed him late or taken a comfortable decision over him. Mike sure as **** couldn't beat fighters who weren't afraid of him and had a solid chin with a good jab.

Ali was a spectacular fighter...........in spurts. He had alot of trouble with many common fighters.

I know the man is a legend and it might hurt your little peepees and ********s.......but Ali is EXTREMELY overrated.

I think most people could of beaten the Post-Catskills Tyson, the guy was a joke.

But at his peak, Tyson was the one who would of beaten a Pre-Army Ali. A Catskills Tyson was the closest we've seen to invincible in a boxing ring, and if you can't see that then you must be ******ed.

Care to explain. I could care one way or the other but I like explanations when people make bold claims such as this one.

That we can agree on, infact I'd said that was an understatement!

Are you being serious? The guy is so grossly over-rated it makes me feel physically sick. Yes he was very impressive against Liston, but FFS people think of him as some sort of God which he clearly wasn't - he was human.
