I was able to meet some boxers at a press conference in Chicago.
I met Andrew Golota,Alejandro Garcia,Rhoshii Wells,Paul Briggs,and Miguel Angel Gonzalez(did not fight on the undecard though)and all of them were cool people.

1. Trinidad - I have seen him a couple of times in the mall, pubs, etc and talk to him once when he was going to train in his private gym...Very humble guy..

2. Cotto - I saw him train at the Bairoa Gym but I was not able to talk to him..

3. Floyd - I saw him last year at the annual Hip-Hop convention in San Juan, they guy had like 6 big ass bodyguards and they were all smokin blunts and **** (except Floyd, I didn't see him smoke ****)...They guy look like a cool guy, but the bodyguards didn't let no one near him...

4. Ivan Calderon - Saw him at the Corley-Cotto fight...

Hmmm my dad started me watching boxing before I could even walk. but when I was a child I met Sugar Ray Leonard right before he fought Duran the first time. (My dad used to box and taught my brothers and I) MY dad tried to warn him that the hands of stone was too much for him, but Sugar swore that he had something for Duran. Little did he know. That was at a chesapeake Bay Seafood house in Maryland.

I Saw Rid**** Bowe Once in a local Mall he was Huge... He stopped for a minute to watch some Tekken 3 and he didnt say anything but then again we didnt speak to him either.

I met William Joppy he was out selling some candy for his daughter for a fundraiser at a local barber shop. This was pre Trinidad. He kept on saying that he was going to do this and that to Trinidad (Of course my brother had to ask him about it!)

I met Sharmba Mitchell I saw him at the Amtrack Station here when he was headed over to train for the guy he fought overseas right before Tzsyu I cannot remember the fighters name. he just kept on saying that Tzsyu was ducking him and that he couldnt wait to get him back in the ring. this was after the first loss to Tszyu. he also said he and Judah really dont like each other and he wanted to get him in the ring badly.

I saw Hasim Rahman but didnt get to speak to him. His cousin attended the same university as I did and he visited him once.

I have seen Mike Tyson like three times here. I saw him once at Republic gardens a local night club He had like 25 women around him and he was doing a round robin with each of them. He was putting his tounge down each of their throats and then switching to a new one and putting his tounge down her throat lol. (Mike is cool till he has some drinks he seriously cannot take even a tiny sip of alcohol or he turns into a monster.. He is cool up till that point. after that first drink he starts grabbing on women and getting wild.

I saw mike again at a barber shop and Like stated Mike is cool but real ******. He was getting his hair cut just like a regular guy. nothings special

Again I spotted Mike once in Potomac Driving down the road a nice ride maybe a ferrari dont remember. passing me by at like 90 mph.

I have met Rock Neuman the Promoter.
I got a chance to meet Bernard Hopkins when he fought in D.C. Vs Robert Allen. Hopkins was real cool signed autographs the whole nine no problem he was super cool.

I also got a chance to meet Robert Allen very very briefly

I saw Clarence Vinson once checking in to a hotel that friend of mine worked at.


Non Boxing folk I have met
Beyond that I have met Stevie wonder (In the Ba*****), Marion Barry, Sharon Pratt Kelly, Saw President Clinton at the National Archives but waay too much security to get anywhere near him. I saw Big Daddy Kane in a local mall and heavy D once in a local mall, have also seen and met Biz Markie, Dominique Dawes I almost actually went out with her on a date (She went to my university) I should have done it. ****** me. I met Jiar Lynch, Malik Yoba, met the guy who played Johnny Cage on Mortal Combat (At a karate Tournament) and Krs One who all came to do some Guest Speaking at my university. also bumped into Kid -n- Play in the D.C. area.
