Very interesting breakdown of the numbers. 2 judges had it even going into the final round and Ali managed to snatch it. I've seen this fight twice and it was really close. Ali won it imo. It's funny that many Ali-haters claim that Ali was 'gifted' 2 decisions against Noron. LMAO. These idiots clearly don't know the meaning of a gift decision. All 3 fights were extremely close. You can't get a gift decision in a closely contested fight.

          15th Round Stats

Ken Norton -11 puches landed 26 thrown
Muhammad Ali - 10 punches landed 55 thrown

Even though Norton outlanded Ali over the course of the fight. Ali controlled the ring in many of the round including the final round. Ring generalship, plus out throwing the opponent.

Yeah yeah, Floyd lost that fight..But say what you want, but we all know that he wasn't 100% healthy in that fight..

Outlanding does not necessarily equate to a win. As the above poster mentioned Mayweather vs Castillo. There were many rounds were Norton landed many more punches than Ali. Does not mean that he won more rounds either.

If you want to talk HEALTH, then technically neither was ali. Remember this fight was fought on 1976-09-28.

I pointed out the Castillo fight just to make sure you don't use double standards.

@ Floyd's name being mentioned in less than 5 posts in a thread that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with him!!!!

I always felt Ali NEVER beat Norton....thats just my opinion
