To me it's the fact as if they talk like they know everything about boxing when in fact the majority have never even been into sports, or watched sports before mma. I hate that type of person.

Thats what annoys me more than anything else. They watch 2 boxing fights a year and act like they know everything about it.

I've been to a ton of boxing gyms and no one ever mentions MMA and if they do rarely do they disrespect it.

I've come to the conclusion that the only fans who disrespect either sport, never actually did either, or really don't know **** about the other one.

The worst mma dudes are the gracie stans who never took a punch in their entire life. Everyone who steps into a gracie gym thinks they can fight, its a bunch of fat ****s rolling around sucking off anyone with the last name gracie, it's a complete joke.

we have 3 mma guys at our gym,2 are well established fighters.I have never heard either of them disrespect boxing.the same goes for us.i have never heard anyone in the gym say anything bad about mma.if anything,the times when mma is mentioned,our guys meet it with respect and admiration.the same with them,when they come to the gym,they admire the art of boxing.these guys are very respectful,so dont feed into these dumb stereotypes that boxers/mma guys dont get along.

there is nothing wrong with liking both.the people who made this so called war are fanboys/casual fans who picked up boxing/mma a year or two ago and get their "knowledge/skills" from tv.these are the guys that dont care about either sport,but just what is "in" at the momment.who cares about ppv numbers or any of that stuff.is bob arum,golden boy or dana white giving you a penny every time there is a fight?like people say,most of this stuff is childish.

I only hate to hear that MMA is taking over boxing and that boxing is dead. Otherwise, I don't care. I don't like MMA, but I do understand that it requires a lot of skills and that the guys competing in it are athletes.

Oh, and I hate to hear that MMA is superior to boxing because it's not only punching. God that is ******ed.

I went to school with MMA fans, most of them were drunk rednecks who always bashed boxing claiming MMA fighters would destroy boxers.

They should just watch straight BJJ fights because boxing is usually what comes first on any mma fight. So why watch MMA if they hate boxing so much?

I don't get the boxing/MMA beef, they are two different things only indirectly related because they fall under the category of combat sports.

MMA is fun to watch, anything where ppl are hitting eachother is just great and if you don't think so well then.............. you can **** off.
