If someone in the know could break down what this means that would be appreciated.

Marian is one of the IBF founders, she's been around since the start 1983, I think this is a bit unbelievable, the board could do this

Wow! Hostile takeover!..Hopefully this will kill the IBF & hopefully the other leech organisms will die off to...I don't know how long was Muhammad in the IBF before 2001, when she was made president after Hiawatha Knight(the 1st female president of the IBF)...żDoes anyone know if she was around when the founder Bob Lee was convicted for racketeering & taking bribes in exchange for rankings?(that was back in 1999)

              Ibf

The IBF is a non profit... The president is an elected office, but trying to get enough support to get voted in is a dangerous game. The loser doesnt just go home, they are OUT, and not just out of the IBF, etc.. but probably out of boxing as well, and for life. A good example is the formation of the WBO: WBA officials tried to oust mendoza and were sent on their way... straight to the alphabet and the WBO was born...

Thats why nobody tries to get elected in the these organizations... Mendoza, Suliamon, etc.. are viewed as President for life because nobody has the power to take them on...

There is a lot more to it but thats the basic idea..

This IBF power struggle is going to get very interesting...

She replaced Bob Lee. Her ex husband is notorious deadbeat promoter Murad Muhammad (Pacquio's first US promoter)

I am a little bit in the know and basically it started with Muhammad firing two upper level officials who were digging under her to present a very serious case at the next board meeting. I suppose this is the next level of the same drama.
