Who had the GREATER WINS? Izzy's 2 wins or Rafa's 2 wins?

NSB, lets give Pacquiao Mayweather a rest for a second. Who do you think had the greater wins Izzy Vasquez or Rafa Marquez?

Who will go down as the greater fighter?

    Vote & discuss.

I rank Izzy two wins> Rafa two wins.

But, I rank Rafa as the greater fight all time. Because, of the work he put on at 118

As far as their own fights go Vasquez for sure, this fight should never have happened and doesn't weigh much in Marquez's favor (through no fault of his own). Overall, they're pretty even.

Vazquez got the better of their trilogy (I'm not even counting tonight, that never should have happened.) His KO was better and he gutted out the win in the tie-breaker.

Marquez won on a broken nose and cuts so far so gotta give it to Vazquez.

I don't count the third or fourth fight (one was controversial and one was pointless), so it comes down to which was better out of the first and second.

Why is everybody going with Vasquez's two wins? Vasquez beat Marquez clear cut in the second fight, no problem with that. But that thing that Pat Russell did in the third fight took away Marquez's ability to hold off Vasquez's assault and he would've closed the fight out stronger with a better willingness to throw body punches. On who is the better of the two? Why shouldn't we count the fourth win for Marquez and refuse to give him credit for it. Ask yourselves this: Who is the cause of Vasquez's eyes being the way they are? Okay. And who has outlasted who in longevity? That's what I thought.

Izzy's eyes clearly weren't healed up properly, the announcers kept saying that and you could tell by looking at his eyes. The fourth fight should have never happened and it was a bit of a let down how it ended. It seemed like the easy breakable scar-tissue on Izzy's eyes cost him the fight.

i share the same sentiments. they really did help each other out in terms of getting in the hall of fame. they really needed each other to make a better case & career & both fighters standings increased dramatically because they took on each no matter who won or lost.

that's what counts a lot in my book.
