[QUOTE=MaminM;8393089]When it's funny that the opponent was a top 5 ranked junior welterweight. Far from being a "canned" opponent.

Khan has had competitive fights in the past with willie limond and gomez.

MaminM, Roache's greatest tallent is his match making skills. Malignaggi was the perfect LOW RISK fight for Khan. No matter how I looked at the fight I could not see Khan losing. that is the deffinition of a non competative fight ,one where it is certain there is only one winner. The odds were heavily stacked in Khan's favor to me that is a "canned opponent'.

He has longer arms, a very fast and effecient jab and is very fast, a little taller and overall the better boxer in my opinion then pacman, he really has a chance to do great things...he has a suspect chin but floyd aint knockin nobody out at 147 in welter anyways so

is this fight between floyd and amirh a better matchup and potentially a better fight then would be the pacman fight???

ok fair enough, but would you concede this statement if khan fought maidana next and won the fight?

I have said all along that Maidana would be his FIRST real competative fight, one where you would not be certain of the outcome. I don't rate Maidana's boxing skills but I do see the real possibility that he would stalk Khan down and KO him.

There is nothing Amir can bring that Floyd hasn't experienced from a better fighter who didn't have a glass jaw.

I think Floyd would be able to time and counterpunch Khan better then he would Pacquiao, but that's just my opinion.

if ya mean better chance of outboxing him, yea probably (even still floyd would still counter his ass, he still makes a few mistakes), but better chance of beating him, no way, best chance to beat floyd is take him outta his comfort zone, i.e suffocate him (not literally), manny has the tools for this.
